March Concert Grant Activities

Lobby activities for our March 2026 concert "The Peace of Wild Things"

In conjunction with our concert, we had grant activities on display in the lobby. People were invited to respond on a flower cut-out with something they could do to help preserve our environment. They could circle a bee on the bee box if they promised to spend some time in nature. They viewed the children's posters and photos from our Bee Day. Our beekeeper was available for questions and post-concert chats, and there was a display of his beekeeping equipment. Concert attendees were also invited to take home a packet of seeds from MNL, a Minnesota company that handpicks native plants that are specifically meant for our local environment. We hope these seeds are planted all over the area to add little pockets of beauty and pollinator habitat! If you were at the concert and took home seeds, let us know what you did with them -- we'd love pictures as they grow and attract bees and butterflies! Send them to mcc.coordinator@gmail.com
