About the event
The concert will open with a presentation by Rachel Amberson, MT-BC, board certified music therapist. She will share with us some of the science of why singing is good for us! Our season focuses on the connections between music and health, particularly mental health, so we are excited to welcome Rachel!
We will be giving the Minnesota premiere performance of Sir John Rutter's 2022 work Missa Brevis. Congratulations, Sir Rutter, on your recent knighthood.
The program will round out with pieces by Narverud, Papoulis, McDonald, Gjeilo, Paulus, and more.
