Minnesota Made
Our 2022-23 Season
The Minnesota Center Chorale joins forces with the College of St. Benedict/University of St. John’s Symphony Orchestra to perform Mozart’s timeless Requiem Mass. Composing while on his deathbed and dying before its completion, Mozart masterfully imbued this ancient rite of passage with the gamut of human emotion—sorrow, reckoning, peace, and joy. This piece, requiring a stage full of singers and musicians, should be experienced by everyone at least once in a lifetime!
No music puts one in the Christmas spirit more than that of our British neighbors across the Atlantic! Featuring music from England, Ireland, and Scotland, the MCC will perform Ralph Vaughan William’s Fantasia on Christmas Carols for choir, string quartet, and baritone solo; choruses from Handel’s Messiah; and other well-known pieces such as the Sussex Carol and In the Bleak Midwinter. Join us for a magical evening to ring in holiday cheer!
