Auditioned members of the chorus share a love of music and a commitment to excellence.
We are a dedicated core of members who are enthusiastic about our mission,
and our choral involvement is an important priority in our lives.
Our conductor leads us in growing artistically, and we encourage one another

Auditions for the 2018-2019 season will be held in August. Mid-season auditions will be held in January.
We are currently auditioning for Sopranos, Tenors, and Basses.

AUDITION INFORMATION
• Auditions will be 20 minute slots
• Auditions will include a check of voice range, color, tonal memory, sight singing, and general musicianship
• You will be asked to present a brief performance of an art song, aria, or folk song that shows the best qualities of your voice.
REHEARSAL AND CONCERT INFORMATION
Minnesota Center Chorale rehearses on Tuesdays during the school year from 7-9pm at the Benedicta Arts Center at the College of St. Benedict, St. Joseph, MN MCC performs 2-3 regular season concerts per year, plus a holiday dinner fundraiser during the month of December. MCC also participates in outreach opportunities such as choral festivals, international tours and Chamber Choir performances at local venues such as libraries and community centers.
FALL CONCERT DATES
Sunday, October 21, 2:00 pm, Mozart Requiem with the CSB/SJU Orchestra and Soloists
Saturday, December 8, 7:30 pm, Christmas Cabaret, including Fantasia on Christmas Carols by Ralph Vaughan Williams
